What's An Innovation Atelier?
An Innovation Atelier is more than a Design studio. It is a sanctuary for the rare, the bold, and the beautifully unorthodox. Inspired by the craftsmanship of classic European ateliers, Japanese Design houses, Modern American Media companies and infused with the disruptive energy of contemporary tech innovation labs, our atelier is where ideas are sculpted into experiences, objects, technologies, and works of art.
Every concept is handled with intention. Every iteration is treated as a study in elegance, utility, and imagination. We work across disciplines—fashion, software, literature, film, sound, and industrial design. Yet, we approach each with the rigor of haute couture and the curiosity of futurists. It is here that prototypes become products, dreams become systems, and culture becomes tangible.
The Story of Imporium Arts
Imporium Arts is the lifelong vision of Nicholas Sample—a inventor, technologist, musician, fashion designer and cultural architect who, at sixteen, imagined a store unlike any other. A place where every shelf held an idea: a song, a sketch, a device, a story, a prototype. A full Emporium of imagination. The name Imporium was born from that daydream—a fusion of Emporium + Innovation.
What started as a teenage vision has matured into a creative house unbound by category. We are not a music company. We are not a book publisher. We are not a production studio. We are not any one thing, because we refuse the limitations of boxes designed for other people’s convenience.
Today, Imporium Arts is a living, breathing ecosystem of creation. We are designers, developers, writers, coders, artisans, and provocateurs. We build objects that can be held, stories that can be felt, and tools that move people forward. We embrace what others overlook. We give form to what others call impossible.
We don’t follow trends, we invent new blueprints. We don’t chase platforms, we build worlds.
We are dreamers and our dreams become real.
