This Privacy Policy explains how Imporium Ltd. ("Imporium", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you:

• visit our website at imporiumarts.com (the "Site");
• shop in our online store at shop.imporiumarts.com or buy through the Site (the "Store");
• sign up for email updates about our apps ("Email Updates"); or
• use our apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, including any in-app purchases (the "Apps").

Together these are the "Services". Imporium Ltd. is a Colorado limited liability company. Imporium Arts is a trade name of Imporium Ltd. We are the party responsible for your personal information under this policy, except where we say a third party (such as Shopify, or Apple for App Store purchases) is responsible.

1. The short version

• Our apps run entirely on your device. No account, no Imporium server and no third-party AI service. Your progress stays on your device.
• We don't sell your personal information. The Apps contain no advertising.
• Payments are handled by the App Store (in the Apps) and Shopify (in the Store). We never see your full card number.
• Email Updates are used only to tell you about our apps, and you can unsubscribe at any time. They are separate from the Apps themselves.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by writing to contact@imporiumarts.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Website (imporiumarts.com)

• Technical and log data. Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and similar request data so the Site can be delivered and protected from abuse. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies or run a bot-protection check.
• Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Accessibility and display preferences. If you change settings such as high contrast, reduced motion or the dyslexia-friendly font, the Site may remember them in your browser's local storage. These stay on your device.
• Shopping bag. When you add items to your bag on the Site, a cart is created through Shopify, and a cart identifier may be stored in your browser so your bag persists.
• Analytics. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on the Site.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

2.2 Online store (Shopify)

Our Store runs on Shopify. When you browse or buy, Shopify and we process information such as your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, phone number (if you provide it), order details and payment confirmation. Payment card details are processed by Shopify's payment services or the payment provider you choose, not stored by us.

The Store also has its own Shopify privacy policy, which covers store-specific details such as cookies, order processing and Shopify's own use of data: https://shop.imporiumarts.com/policies/privacy-policy. Where that policy covers a purchase in more detail, it applies alongside this one.

Products may be printed and shipped by fulfillment partners, who receive the details needed to fulfill and ship your order (name, shipping address, items).

2.3 Email updates about our apps

Email Updates are a website sign-up, separate from the Apps. If you sign up, we collect your email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to:

• tell you when a beta or an app is available;
• send occasional, relevant updates about our apps; and
• answer you if you write back.

Email Updates are stored and sent using our email service provider. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We delete your sign-up when you unsubscribe or ask us to. Signing up does not link your email to anything you later do in the Apps.

2.4 Our apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Our apps run entirely on your device:

• No account. You don't sign up or sign in, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other contact details in the Apps.
• No server. The Apps don't send your lessons, answers, progress or settings to Imporium. We have no server that receives app data.
• No third-party AI. The Apps do not send anything you type or do to any outside AI service. Lessons and answer checking run on your device.
• Progress stays on your device. Your progress, answers and settings are stored only on the device you use. We can't see, access or restore them. If you delete an app, this data is deleted with it. Like other app data, it may be included in backups of your device that you make yourself, which we can't access.
• In-app purchases go through the App Store. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store, and Apple's privacy policy applies to that processing. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive your name, email or card details. The app checks your purchase status on your device to unlock features. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
• No tracking or advertising. The Apps don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, contain no ads and include no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.
• Optional crash reports. If you choose in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, we may receive anonymized crash and usage reports. You control this setting on your device.

If a future version adds accounts, sync, a server or an AI service, we will update this policy before that version is released.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide, operate and secure the Services;
• process and deliver orders, returns and customer support;
• (in the Apps) unlock and restore in-app purchases, which happens on your device through the App Store;
• send Email Updates you asked for, and transactional messages about your orders;
• understand and fix problems with the Services;
• comply with law, tax and accounting obligations, and protect our rights and our users.

We don't use your personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the Services, under contracts that limit their use of it: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Shopify (store, checkout, payments), our fulfillment partners, our email service provider, and Google Fonts. App Store purchases are processed by Apple as an independent provider. The Apps themselves share nothing with anyone.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
• A successor, if Imporium Ltd. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We do not sell personal information. Our Store runs on Shopify, which may offer personalized advertising features; you can opt out of any such data sharing at https://shop.imporiumarts.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site and Store use cookies and local storage that are needed for them to work (for example security checks, your shopping bag and your display preferences). The Store may use additional cookies described in Shopify's policy. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by law.

6. How long we keep information

• Order and tax records: as long as required by law (generally up to 7 years).
• Support emails: as long as needed to help you and keep a record of the conversation.
• Email Updates: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your sign-up.
• App progress: only on your device, until you delete the app. We never hold a copy.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado and other US states, the EU/EEA and the UK), you may have the right to:

• know about and access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• receive a portable copy;
• opt out of sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling;
• withdraw consent, and object to or restrict certain processing; and
• appeal our decision on your request.

To make a request, email contact@imporiumarts.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days in the US, one month in the EU/UK). You may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; Colorado residents may contact the Colorado Attorney General if they are unhappy with the result of an appeal. EU/UK residents may complain to their local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Email Updates: use the unsubscribe link in any email. App data: we hold none, so there is nothing for us to access or delete; delete the app to remove its data from your device. Subscriptions: manage them in your Apple Account settings.

8. Children

The Site and Store are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Our apps collect no personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS on our websites and an app design that keeps your app data on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International users

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the US and other countries. Where EU/UK law applies, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where EU/UK law applies, we rely on these legal bases: contract (orders and purchases), consent (Email Updates) and legitimate interests (security and improving the Services).

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you on the Site, in the Apps or by email.
