This shirt pays tribute to my first-ever skateboard sponsor — Innovation Skate Shop in Arlington, Texas. Back when I thought pro skateboarding was the path I was going to take in life, I didn’t realize the real gift was bigger: freedom, expression, and the kind of grit that comes from eating pavement and still getting up to try again.
This shirt is a direct homage: a rework of the same graphic that once sat on the bottom of my first board I earned with my talent. It’s a nod to the roots, to the skate crew, and to anyone who knows the obsession of learning a trick that doesn’t love you back yet.
