But you know what we don’t love? The taste of a Japanese cigarette. One of the fastest ways I ever quit smoking in life was losing access to the dangerous but undeniably smoother American Marlboro. Japanese smokes? These taste terrible.
This hoodie isn’t a promotion of cigarettes — far from it. As the founder, I hate them. But as a former smoker, I can acknowledge the culture, the ritual, and yes, the taste. That appreciation comes with the flip side: bad-smelling clothes, bad breath, stained walls, and looking older than you are. This piece is a note to that duality — a shoutout to Japan, a nod to the ones who don’t care, and a reminder of the consequences.
